For those of you who follow the Banker's Umbrella on social media you will by now have noticed some changes. I am now doing my level best to appear cool.
We've all seen the politicians who remove their tie and jacket in an attempt to say "Hey there normal person. Look at me. I'm not stuck up at all, I'm actually pretty laid back and with it because I took off my tie and jacket for you. You can trust me." I am now trying the same tactic. The old avatar is gone and your humble narrator has taken off his hat, jacket and tie.
The original plan was to try a few different types of designs, but the first one proved so popular that that's what we'll be going with. For those of you who aren't active on social media you can see the logo on the top left of this article and below is the header used for Twitter. The new look is designed by London based artist Ali Charmi.
Bit by bit, this website will also change to fit the new look. I do hope you approve, if you don't, you can write me a very stern letter and if it's suitably amusing I'll be happy to publish it in the blog for the thousands of readers who frequent here.
While I am at it, I don't often do this, but this does seem an appropriate moment for it, so please be kind enough to subscribe to the Banker's Umbrella blog, those who do, know that this blog never spams anyone all you'll get is an email notification when a new blog post is published… oh and when my book comes out I'll be making an exclusive offer to subscribers only.
And lastly if you're on Facebook, please also be sure to follow the Banker's Umbrella there.
Thank you all.
